It's not what we do, or where we go... It's how we do it. It's not about what happened, but what we choose to do afterwards that matters.

So last night after US Open, I snuck over to Anthony Touch’s house. I’ve been keeping myself updated on how poor little Butter is fighting the Parvovirus (I want to compare this to Malaria with humans). Anthony leaves to UH Manoa on August 14th and hasn’t slept in days! So I came over and took over for the night so his mom and he could finally get some real sleep. The poor pup was bleeding out of places she shouldn’t and just looked hopeless. Anyways, Jimmy Samonn came over as well and we watched Anthony do the medication process over and over again until about 11 pm. From then on, Jimmy, Amanda and I stayed up to give her: baby food on her gums, pup milk from syringe, parvoaid medicine from syringe, then enema through her butt every 30 minutes. Anxiously waiting her next move and thoroughly disinfecting/cleaning after her “disposals”. Twas the most depressing sight I’ve ever seen. Monster, Anime, and being called princess is what kept me up through the night. Haha. 6 am hit and I was slowly slipping and ended up waking up Anthony when I saw her shaking her head furiously. I stayed til 9 am and kept working with her. She’s really progressing. No worms, no blood, and walking around slightly. I’ve never felt so attached to a dog before and was so willing to help her survive. Love and care is what is keeping her sweet little 3 lb fluffy self alive until today. Jimmy and I rocked her soul. You can do it little warrior princess.
